PortSIP offers external SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp features, as well as PBX extensions internal chat—allowing you to keep your lines of communication open from anywhere within PortSIP.

SMS/MMS feature

Setup SMS/MMS features

The SMS/MMS feature requires your trunk provider to support it. Currently, PortSIP PBX has integrated the SMS feature as well with the below trunk providers:

If the tenant administrator is successfully configured for the SMS integration as the above guides, then the users can use the PortSIP ONE app to send & receive the SMS/MMS.

WhatsApp messaging feature

The PortSIP WhatsApp integration allows you to easily answer your customers through their WhatsApp client. When a customer session requires agent assistance, you can go ahead and route to the right agent for live support with your ring group/queue agent. Images, file sharing, and even location are available when communicating with your customers.
