# Certificates for TLS/HTTPS/WebRTC

This guide explains how to resolve common SSL/TLS certificate issues when using PortSIP PBX and PortSIP SBC.

After completing the PBX and SBC setup, you may encounter a self-signed certificate warning in the following scenarios:

* When accessing the PBX Web Portal over HTTPS
* When using the WebRTC client in a web browser

In addition, this guide applies if your existing SSL/TLS certificates have expired and need to be renewed or replaced.

Follow the steps in this guide to install trusted certificates and eliminate browser security warnings.
