SMS and WhatsApp Messaging

PortSIP provides external SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp messaging, as well as internal PBX extension chat, allowing you to communicate seamlessly with customers and colleagues—all within the PortSIP platform.

SMS and MMS Messaging

Prerequisites

The SMS/MMS feature requires support from your SIP trunk provider. PortSIP PBX currently supports SMS integration with the following trunk providers:

Important SMS/MMS messaging is available only after the tenant administrator completes the required SMS configuration for the selected trunk provider.

Configuring SMS/MMS

Configure SMS/MMS by following the corresponding trunk-specific guide listed above. Once the integration is successfully completed at the tenant level, end users can send and receive SMS/MMS messages using the PortSIP ONE app.
